About Us

Bringing Hope to Breast Cancer Warriors

Boxes of Hope is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing hope, encouragement, and support to breast cancer warriors throughout their journey.

What began with one care package has grown into a ministry serving women across the United States and Canada. Through thoughtful care, meaningful connections, and experiences that celebrate strength, beauty, and resilience, Boxes of Hope strives to remind every woman that she does not have to walk this journey alone.

What We Do

Boxes of Hope offers several programs designed to support breast cancer warriors in different ways.

Care Packages & Mastectomy Pillows

Our care packages are filled with thoughtful items chosen to provide comfort and encouragement during a difficult season.

We also provide handcrafted mastectomy pillows to help bring comfort following breast surgery.

Every box and every pillow is a reminder that someone cares, someone is thinking of you, and you are not alone.

Pink Warrior Day

A day to celebrate strength, beauty, and resilience.

Pink Warrior Day gives breast cancer warriors the opportunity to step away from the diagnosis and see themselves in a different light.

With professional hair styling, makeup, beautiful gowns or a warrior-inspired boxing outfit, and a professional photo session, women are reminded that breast cancer does not define who they are.

It is about more than a photograph. It is about helping a woman see the strength and beauty that was there all along.

Pinky Sisters Support Group

Pinky Sisters grew from the friendships formed at the very first Pink Warrior Day. The women who met at the event wanted to stay connected, creating a sisterhood that has continues to grow.

Pinky Sisters is a place for friendship, laughter, encouragement, and connection with women who understand what it means to walk this journey.

Because sometimes you don’t need someone to explain.

You just need someone who understands.

More Then Programs – It’s Community

At Boxes of Hope, we believe support can look different for every woman.

Sometimes hope arrives in a box on your doorstep.

Sometimes it comes in the form of a handmade pillow.

Sometimes it’s putting on a beautiful gown, picking up a pair of boxing gloves, and remembering just how strong you are.

Sometimes it’s sitting around a table, laughing with women who understand.

And sometimes, it’s simply knowing that someone is walking beside you.

That’s what Boxes of Hope is about.

Our Mission

We walk alongside breast cancer warriors to bring hope, encouragement, and support through compassionate care, meaningful connection, and experiences that celebrate their strength, beauty, and resilience.

Who We Serve

Boxes of Hope supports breast cancer warriors wherever they are in their journey.

A breast cancer journey doesn’t look the same for everyone. Some women are newly diagnosed. Some are navigating treatment or recovering from surgery. Others have completed treatment and are learning how to move forward.

Wherever a woman is in her journey, she deserves to feel supported, encouraged, and remembered.

Because there is no expiration date on needing hope.

The Heart Behind Boxes of Hope

Boxes of Hope was founded by breast cancer survivor Traci Fotorny, whose own journey through breast cancer became the beginning of something much bigger than she could have imagined.

What started with one box of hope has grown into a ministry built on faith, compassion, friendship, and the belief that no woman should have to face breast cancer feeling alone.

Hope Is Meant to Be Shared

Whether you are a breast cancer warrior, family member, friend, business, church, organization, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, there is a place for you at Boxes of Hope.

Together, we can bring hope to more women and remind them that they are loved, supported, and never alone.
