Memorials

Honor a Life. Continue a Legacy. Give Hope

When someone we love passes away, a memorial contribution is a meaningful way to honor their life while helping bring hope, encouragement, and support to breast cancer warriors.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of anyone.

Your loved one does not need to have been affected by breast cancer. Whether you are remembering a breast cancer warrior, a family member, a friend, or someone who made a lasting difference in your life, their memory can continue to make a difference in the lives of others.

A Legacy of Hope

This concept is deeply personal to our Founder.

The couple pictured above are our Founder’s parents. They wanted memorial contributions made in their memory to benefit Boxes of Hope and help continue its mission of giving hope to breast cancer warriors.

Their wish was not simply to be remembered. They wanted their memory to continue making a difference in the lives of others.

Today, their legacy lives on through every woman who receives hope, encouragement, and support from Boxes of Hope.

Their memory can become someone else’s hope.

How Memorial Contributions Work

When you choose to establish memorial contributions through Boxes of Hope, we create a personalized and lasting way to honor your loved one while helping provide hope to breast cancer warriors.

A Personalized Contribution Form

We will create a dedicated online contribution form in your loved one’s name. This allows us to accurately track every contribution made in their memory and ensure that each gift is properly acknowledged.

A Lasting Memorial on Our Website

Your loved one’s name and memorial contribution link will remain permanently on our Memorial Contributions page. If the family wishes, we will also feature a photograph of their loved one in a special framed memorial display.

A Memorial Sign & Memorial Postcards

We can create personalized memorial materials featuring your loved one’s name and a QR code that takes family and friends directly to their online contribution form.

A sign can be displayed at the funeral or memorial service, and postcard-sized versions can be provided for family and friends to take home, making it easy to make a contribution later.

The finished materials will be emailed to the family for convenient printing, especially for those who live outside our area. If preferred, printed copies may also be arranged for pickup at the Boxes of Hope office.

In Loving Memory

The lives represented here continue to make a difference through the generosity of those who choose to honor their memory.

Thank You Card & Tax Receipt

Every person who makes a memorial contribution will receive a personal thank-you card from Boxes of Hope along with a receipt for their tax-deductible donation.

A Summary for the Family

We want each person who gives in your loved one’s memory to know that their gift is appreciated and that, through their generosity, they are helping carry that memory forward by giving hope to breast cancer warriors.

We want the family to know how many people chose to honor their loved one through Boxes of Hope.

We will not disclose the amount of any individual contribution—only the total amount received. This allows family members to personally thank those who chose to honor their loved one, if they wish.

A Lasting Tribute on Our Dedication Wall

As part of the memorial contribution program, we will dedicate a brick in memory of your loved one on our Dedication Wall in the Boxes of Hope office.

Once the brick has been completed and placed on our Dedication Wall, we will send the family a photograph of their loved one’s permanent tribute.

Their name will become a lasting part of the Boxes of Hope story—a place where their memory can continue to be seen and honored for years to come.

Giving in Their Memory

A memorial contribution is more than a donation. It is a way to turn remembrance into hope.

Your loved one’s memory can help provide care packages, mastectomy pillows, encouragement, support, and meaningful moments of hope to breast cancer warriors facing one of life’s most difficult journeys.

Every gift, regardless of its size, helps us remind a breast cancer warrior that she is not alone.

Their life mattered.
Their memory matters.

Their legacy can continue.

Their memory can give hope.
